This Lunar Eclipse;
The Moon color in shadow changed to a light pale earthy blue, as a light turquoise blue, the same as the horizon sky it submerged into.
The early phase of the eclipse color tone of the shadow was rimmed between the sky colored shadow and the brilliant white of the moon with an light orange to reddish tint.
What is it and does it have some special meaning;

What is the astrological significance of an eclipse?

First, consider the Full and New Moons. We get one each of these every month.

The New Moon is the beginning of the waxing phase of the Lunar cycle, or the two weeks when the Moon increases in light. We can use the energy of the increasing light of the Moon to plant seeds, both literally and figuratively. We start new projects, buy new things, make new contacts. Things we start in the world outside during this time tend to grow. Farmers use this time to plant above-ground crops.

A Solar eclipse is a very special New Moon. Things that are begun between the eclipse and the next Full Moon (about 2 weeks), seeds we plant, projects we undertake, contacts we make, and intentions we set, take on added significance 6 months down the road.

The Full Moon is the culmination of the Moon's cycle, and the beginning of the waning phase. During the two weeks following the Full Moon, the Moon decreases in light. This is a good period for working on ourselves, finalizing things, processing information, wrapping up, and letting go of the things we don't need anymore. This is a time for progress in the inner, rather than outer, realm. Farmers often use this time to plant root crops, which grow under the surface of the earth.

A Lunar eclipse is a very special Full Moon. Decisions we make, things we let go of, and things we finish during this waning cycle have significance in the future. It is an excellent time to give up an old habit, for example, smoking.

Full Moons in general, and Lunar eclipses in particular, are times of high emotion, and they bring awareness. The Sun and the Moon, our animus and our emotions, are on opposite sides of the sky, as if the other were a mirror. This is a time of mirroring, we can see ourselves in others if we are willing to look. Many are not.

Your homework assignment, should you choose to accept it:

The Solar Eclipse list

You can do this anytime between the Solar Eclipse and the next Full Moon. Take out a sheet of paper and a pen. Find yourself a nice quiet spot. On the paper, make a list of 100 things you want. Don't hold back! Don't let your inner voice tell you that you can't have it. It will be hard to think of things after the first 50, but keep at it. Be positive: "I will get a raise," not "I want a raise."

Example:

1. I will make some new friends.
2. I will have a beach named after me.
3. I will be my own boss.
4. I will save the whales.
5. I will have a new car.
6. I will have a Xena Warrior Princess doll.
7. My houseplants will live long and be green.

…and so on.

When you are finished, place your list in an envelope, seal it, write the date on it, and put it in a sacred place in your home. Or you could just bless it and stick it in a drawer. You have just asked for what you want. This is how you plant seeds. After 1 year has passed, take out your list, and see which of these seeds have taken root in your life.

The Lunar Eclipse meditation:

You can do this anytime between the Lunar Eclipse and the next New Moon. Same as the Solar Eclipse list, except this is a little harder. This time, think of the things in your life you would like to bring to a close, finish, or end. That contract you want to get signed, that job you want to finish. That guilty feeling. That unhealthy relationship. That nasty smoking habit.

Take some time to sit in a quiet space and breathe. Visualize the inner workings of that habit, the issue, the situation, as people. Give them names and faces! My addicted smoker and my inner doctor. My gentle self and my angry self. Visualize them each holding one end of a rope, like a tug of war. They can see each other now, how can they better understand one another? How can they work together to achieve balance? Picture each one gently dropping their end of the rope.

You have just asked for assistance from the universe to clear out old energies and make room for the things you want to bring in. There is great power in this request.

Moon Meditation: "Full Moon Eclipse! …"

Life should start feeling quite super-charged now as we head deeper into the eclipse season and towards the end of the year (please note, the eclipse is on December 10 in the Northern Hemisphere but on December 11 in the Southern Hemisphere). This week, we kick off with a Full Moon eclipse in the sign of Gemini. Full Moons are about letting go and moving on – and a Full Moon eclipse is about that times two. To have it taking place at the end of the year is mega – it suggests that if there's anything which has happened in 2011 which you just want to move on from, this is the week to draw a line and step over it. Eclipses can be very tense times, especially Full Moon eclipses because peoples' emotions come to the surface. But it's fair to say that even when what happens at the time of an eclipse is initially hard to handle, it usually proves to be for the best. Eclipses are often about getting us back on track if we've wandered too far from our Life Blueprint – the life path our soul wants to tread in order to evolve as we know our soul needs to. Yes, it's all very deep! Sometimes it's not clear why something is happening, especially in an eclipse season. Try to take things one step at a time.

The next few days are packed with astrological energy as Uranus makes a station (a standstill) at zero degrees Aries on the same day as a lunar eclipse.

As the planet of sudden change and shocking events, the role of Uranus is to startle us out of complacency and force us into an experience that will break through the shackles of closed-mindedness and attachment to the past.  Uranus is the revolutionary, the innovator – it also rules technology and a detachment in which reason takes precedence over emotion.

Planets don't really change direction, obviously, but because we observe their movement from earth they sometimes appear to do so.  The outer planets generally spend about half of the year in what we call "retrograde" motion.  Planets changing direction operate in a similar fashion to cars that are making a U-turn:  before they make that U-turn they slow down, from our vantage point on earth, progressing just a degree or maybe a few minutes of arc each day until they make that change of direction.  When a planet slows down to a standstill and makes that "station" its effect is more powerful, rather like a car blowing its horn as it comes to a standstill right outside our home

Uranus is at the zero degree of Aries now, the first degree of the first sign of the zodiac.  Symbolically this is a point of initiation and action – something new is being birthed both within us, and in the world around us.  Because Uranus is stationary at that degree its energy is focused like a laser beam of intensity, inspiring a desire for change and letting go of the past and whatever is holding us back from venturing forth into a brave new world.

This is the backdrop for the lunar eclipse that occurs on the same day.  A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon is Full and the Sun's light opposes the Moon.  The Moon represents our emotions, our needs – what we need to feel secure, what we need to feel safe and loved.  During a Full Moon our emotional range may be heightened as the solar light of the conscious mind challenges the lunar instincts.  An eclipse occurs when the Sun and Moon conjoin the lunar nodes, and because the lunar nodes represent our evolutionary direction there is a fated quality to eclipses and an unmasking of something crucial that is required for our spiritual development.

The emotional realm is murky and hidden in the best of times, and during a lunar eclipse the mysteries of the subterranean realm of the heart become intensified. More magical, yes, but also potentially more frightening if you are a person who tends to hide from emotional matters. This is a Gemini Full Moon, and Gemini desires above all else to communicate.  This is not a time to hide your emotions and try to absorb them into the core of your being.  This Full Moon requires communication and expression of the emotional realm so that it can be transmitted and transmuted into personal growth.

Gemini is ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication, and Uranus is considered to be the "higher octave" of Mercury in that Mercury rules mind and Uranus rules higher mind.  Uranus takes the chatter of our thoughts and converts them to intuition and insight.  In the Gemini Full Moon the Sun is in the sign of Sagittarius which is expansive and seeks the One Truth, but the Gemini/Sagittarius polarity requires that we find balance between curiosity and ideology.  Even when we think we know what is true (Sagittarius), we must always continue to learn and inquire (Gemini).

This Full Moon will appear huge as it begins to rise and will be colored by the Earth's atmosphere.  The beauty and magnitude of this Full Moon reflects the power of this lunation which offers us the potential to see beyond the veil of our ideas and beliefs and to elevate our thoughts beyond the confines of our emotions.

Love IS something you do.

Love IS something you do. It is an actuation that can be given and recieved it has a feeling that emulates both from the giver and reciever and emulates in return from both the reciever an ethereal world So it is, that it can be given freely without effort though sometimes a real effort must be made; and that effort may take great strength , and it can also can be hard to find in mind. Constellations

Eighty-eight officially defined regions of the sky, usually (especially in the northern hemisphere) based on traditional groups of stars. Traditionally, constellations simply described prominent groups of stars. For purposes of nomenclature, internationally-agreed constellation boundaries were set up in 1930. This means that every star, and indeed every point in the sky, falls within a specific constellation. Many of the constellations we know today go back to ancient times: Ptolemy listed forty-eight of them in the second century CE, and many are older still. Five hundred years before Ptolemy, for instance, a Macedonian scientist named Aratos compiled a consistent list of constellations known as the Phainomena. To the Greeks, constellations and groups of constellations held great significance, and many have origins interweaved with mythology. In one part of the sky, for example, we see Andromeda, with her mother and father Cassiopeia and Cepheus, being rescued by the hero Perseus. Other star-groups (like Corona Borealis or Crater) were said to represent items literally cast into the sky by the gods. Supreme importance, though, was reserved for the twelve zodiacal constellations. These are the constellations intersected by the ecliptic (the plane of the Solar System). This means that, seen from the Earth, the Sun, Moon and all the planets but Pluto travel through this group of constellations. Now we understand the workings of the Solar System, we can see why this should be, but it was natural for the ancients to conclude that there was something magical about the zodiacal constellations. Incidentally, gravitational effects on the Earth since ancient times mean that the ecliptic now passes through thirteen constellations (the new addition is Ophiuchus, the Serpent Holder). What's more, the planets can also sometimes briefly enter other constellations, such as Cetus or Orion. For all their inventiveness, there was one important limit on the Greek astronomers: there were many stars in the southern hemisphere that they could never see. Not until the age of discovery did Europeans see these stars, and the names of their constellations are therefore much less ancient than those of the northern sky. Compared with their ancient northern counterparts, the names of the southern constellations seem rather arbitrary and uninspired. Many are named after scientific instruments, such as the Telescope, Microscope, Reticule and Air-pump. The others seem to consist mainly of a more or less random selection of birds and fish, with the occasional curiosity such as the Chisel or the Indian. The area of the sky isn't equally distributed among the constellations: some describe huge areas, while others are minute. The largest, such as Hydra, Virgo and Ursa Major, have areas of around 1,300 square degrees, and each describe about a fiftieth of the sky. By comparison, the smallest, like tiny Crux or Equuleus the Foal, have areas of just seventy square degrees or so (about one nine hundredth of the full sky). Because 'constellations' are officially defined, some well-known star-groups can't, technically speaking, be described with that term. Groups such as the Plough (Big Dipper), the Square of Pegasus or the huge 'superconstellation' of Argo Navis are more properly referred to as asterisms - traditionally accepted groups of stars that don't have an official designation. One of the most recognisable of constellations is Leo, the Lion. The shape formed by these stars almost irresistably describes the outline of a seated lion.

         Explanation: On October 29 (UT), Jupiter, the solar system's largest planet, will be at opposition, opposite the Sun in planet Earth's sky, shining brightly and rising as the Sun sets. That configuration results in Jupiter's almost annual closest approach to planet Earth, so near opposition the gas giant offers earthbound telescopes stunning views of its stormy, banded atmosphere and large Galilean moons. This sharp snapshot of Jupiter was captured on October 13 with the 1 meter telescope at the Pic Du Midi mountain top observatory in the French Pyrenees. North is up in the image that shows off oval shaped vortices and planet girdling dark belts and light zones. Also seen in remarkable detail, Jupiter's icy Ganymede, the solar system's largest moon, is emerging from behind the planet (top) while volcanic Io enters the frame near the lower left edge.

Many are easily visible with binoculars. Constellations near the galactic center include Sagittarius, Libra, Scorpius, Scutum, and Ophiuchus. Nebulae include Messier Objects M8, M16, M17, M20 and the Pipe Nebula. Open star clusters include M6, M7, M18, M21, M23, M24, M25. Globular star clusters include M9, M22, M28, M54, M69, M70. APOD: March 30, 1998 - A Bulls Eye Einstein Ring
Explanation: Can one galaxy hide behind another? Not in the case of B1938+666. Here the foreground galaxy acts like a huge gravitational lens, pulling the light from the background object around it, keeping it visible. Here the alignment is so precise that the distant galaxy is distorted into a nearly perfect giant ring around the foreground galaxy, a formation known as an Einstein ring. The bright peak at the center of the bulls-eye is the nearer galaxy. The cosmic mirage was found initially with the MERLIN radio telescope array. The follow-up image shown above from the Hubble Space Telescope was released earlier today. Although appearing extremely small at 1 arcsecond diameter, the above Einstein ring is really tens of thousands of light years across.
APOD: December 2, 1997 - Micro-Quasar GRS1915 Puffs
Explanation: On the far side of our Galaxy, gas clouds explode away from a small black hole. This might seem peculiar, as black holes are supposed to attract matter. But material falling toward a black hole collides and heats up, creating an environment similar to a quasar that is far from stable. In the above time-lapse sequence, micro-quasar GRS1915 expels bubbles of hot gas in spectacular jets. These computer enhanced radio images show one plasma bubble coming almost directly toward us at 90 percent the speed of light, and another moving away. Each of the four frames marks the passage of one day. Originally detected on October 29th, these bubbles have now faded from view.

7,000 Stars And The Milky Way

It was made in the 1940s under the supervision of astronomer Knut Lundmark at the Lund Observatory in Sweden. To create the picture, draftsmen used a mathematical distortion to map the entire sky onto an oval shaped image with the plane of our Milky Way Galaxy along the center and the north galactic pole at the top. 7,000 individual stars are shown as white dots, size indicating brightness. The "Milky Way" clouds, actually the combined light of dim, unresolved stars in the densely populated galactic plane, are accurately painted on, interrupted by dramatic dark dust lanes. The overall effect is photographic in quality and represents the visible sky. Can you identify any familiar landmarks or constellations? For starters, Orion is at the right edge of the picture, just below the galactic plane and the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds are visible as fuzzy patches in the lower right quadrant.

NEPTUNE AQUARIUS

Grammar tuned as post's titled.
It could be difficult to discern between what is of Neptune and what is described as attributed to Aquarius; i.e. is it just Neptune, or is it that any planet, that reaches the 29° mark through the constelation of Aquarius combigns its planetary energies with this as a degree cason.
Breaking this down a little...
Neptune is at (the Interpretation of) the 29° Aquarius symbolic degree

Now since the title could sound like Neptune in Aquarius, which is what I'm calling a Neptune Aquarius combination, and Aquarius could have many planets, I'm simply isolating the two together.
So, about Neptune in Aquarius ,( I'm breaking down in bold, a long paragraph, or two; linked here)

...Honest, rigid, and fair character. Regardless of the social layer to which one belongs, this degree indicates that one rises to an exceptionally prominent position and becomes famous in one's field of competence. This degree describes authority and grandeur.

The planet Neptune symbolizes extreme receptivity, intense emotional sharpness, impressionability and inspiration; it is the planet of mediums, mystics and religious faith. In an astrological chart, it indicates dilution, vagueness, understanding one’s environment through emotions and the absence of clear and determined limits and structures.

In your natal chart, Neptune’s house position is more important than his sign position because, like Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto, he is a slow planet.

Many people born in the same period have Neptune in the same sign.
